Haroon joined Intech Process Automation in July, 2006 as a Technical Writer and was appointed to work on an undergoing project of its sister concern that is now operating as an independent company, Sensys Private Limited. Haroon's responsibility was to fulfill the user related documentation needs for Sensys' flagship product, IntelliMAX, that was close to its release at that time. IntelliMAX is a digital dashboard framework that supports development of industrial automation solutions for running, administering and monitoring industrial equipment and machinery.

Haroon started his career as a Technical Writer with IPL in April 2003. He joined the company as their first technical writer, however, his designation was Software Engineer. i2c - the software division of the company - is a provider of electronic pin distribution and payment processing solutions. During his 3 year stay with the company he had the opportunity play a major role in i2c's flagship products namely, FastCash and MyCardPlace (MCP). Aside from these, he also contributed to other projects running in the company during his tenure. Haroon spent his last two years in the role of team leader for the technical writing team.
